Zero Touch

Automated production where it makes sense.

Zero Touch is an automated processing option inside BWRM Production for clean, straightforward real estate images. It’s built for speed and efficiency. You upload the job the same way, and it’s delivered the same way. The difference is what happens in between.

Images move through an automated workflow that uses AI alongside our production automation built from our own editing standards and real production data. Exposure, colour balance, verticals, and some minor general cleanups are handled automatically, within clearly defined limits.

Zero Touch isn’t about lowering standards or replacing people. It’s about using the right process for the right job. Because the workflow is fully automated, turnaround times are significantly faster, and pricing reflects the reduced handling.

Where to use Zero Touch

Zero Touch works best on simple, predictable shoots. Clean interiors, white or neutral walls, rentals, apartments, and mid-range homes with even lighting. In these situations, the results are almost comparable to standard edited images, just delivered much faster and at a lower cost. If the light behaves and the colours stay neutral, Zero-Touch does exactly what it’s meant to do.

Limitations/rules of the game

Because this is a Zero Touch workflow, there is no scope for additional retouching requests that would require a human. If you require additional editing, the Zero Touch image will need to be uploaded as a new request and subject to normal processing timelines and additional retouching charges. Any rejections with additional requests will not be fast-tracked.

To get additional requests to a zero touch job, download your completed Zero Touch images, and re-upload them with your additional instructions (shown above).

Do not send Zero Touch images back as rejections.

Where you shouldn't use Zero Touch

Some jobs still need a human eye.

  • Strong colour casts

  • Mixed lighting

  • Architectural detail

  • Anything that needs careful judgement

The above should stay in the full-service workflow.

Twilights, Exteriors and our other styles are not suitable for Zero Touch at this stage (these are under development). That’s where our editors add value, and it’s still the right choice for premium work.

We use the same method we use when shooting daytime interiors.
