Why use post-production?

When you sell a product as BWRM, it must be produced by us. Doing this is a condition of our agreement with you and is vitally important as it ensures that the quality of the brand is not compromised.

Our post-production standards are high and our team must adhere to these in order to remain accredited. Using our collective volume and consistent shooting methods allows us to provide the highest-quality output for the lowest possible price.

Post-production is also the main source of income for BWRM. Linking our income to the services you use is the most sustainable way that we can offer a full service to our members. In contrast to the BWRM business model, franchises use expensive buy-ins and franchise fees linked to turnover. On top of that, franchisees will still be required to pay for post-production (often with a margin applied by the franchise). Franchisees who pay for post-production will need to focus on price rather than quality, in order to stay in business. This gives BWRM members a distinct advantage. Similarly, independent businesses can choose to do their own post-production at the expense of business growth, or opt to pay for post-production, without the management, quality standards and economies-of-scale that BWRM offers. This leaves them paying more, for less.

Using a post-production service is the only way you will be able to scale your business. Time is money, and spending time retouching images, drawing floor plans or editing videos is a great way to lose focus on what you need to be doing, which is making sales. Your time is valuable and is best spent on high pay-off activities like getting behind the lens (generating income) and building relationships (securing future income), not on low pay-off activities such as post-production.

Currency

All of our prices are quoted in USD, as this is the currency in which our supply chain operates. They do this, generally speaking, because their own currencies are highly volatile, and the USD is a much more stable and globally accepted currency. When you have completed a job, you will be able to view the cost in AUD by viewing the transactions page. This price will change as the USD/AUD valuation fluctuates. BWRM members benefit from a favourable exchange rate (much better than a normal bank rate), which is negotiated directly with our banks using our collective volume.

Capture Methods have been developed to provide the BWRM post-production teams with the best possible input to work from. We ask that you stick to these methods, as this minimises both the time it takes to produce amazing results, and ultimately the cost to you. The pricing in this document assumes that you have followed the various Capture Methods. Further charges may apply if you have not.
