We're often asked if we’re a franchise. The short answer is, "No, we are not a franchise." Our unique business model differs because we have found a way for our members to have all the benefits of being part of a bigger network while maintaining their independence.
BWRM was born out of the bad experiences that come from being bound to the franchise model. Our Directors worked under such an arrangement at the beginning of their real estate photography careers. It was the lessons learned during that time that led to the ideas that would become key to the BWRM platform. Concepts such as unrestricted business operations, supportive supplier networks, strong brand presence with individual contributions to its growth, a system that encourages everyone to succeed financially without restrictions, and the training to grow you there.
Franchises are about fear—fear of doing your own thing, believing you don’t have what it takes. BWRM believes you do have what it takes and our system can help you get there. No lock-in contracts, no hidden costs, no restraints, if you don’t like what’s happening you can go your own way, but we think you won’t. We deliver because we have to.
When we join the BWRM network, we licence an exclusive set of postcodes where we work as independent business owners (Members), backed by the 5 Pillars of the BWRM Platform: Pathway, Process, People, Product & Portal.
In order to become a licensee or member of BWRM, you must agree to the terms of two simple, separate agreements. These are not lock-in contracts and contain no restraint clauses. Something you will likely not find with other organisations!
It is recommended that you seek independent legal advice to determine if these agreements are suitable for you. This article is not intended as a replacement for this advice and is only designed as a simple explanation.
Platform Agreement
This agreement grants you to access the BWRM Platform. You are granted exclusive rights to operate as BWRM within the postcodes contained within the Platform Agreement.
Media Services Agreement
When you sell a product as BWRM, it must be produced by BWRM. Doing this is a condition of our Platform Agreement and is vitally important as it ensures that the consistency and quality of the brand are not compromised. The Media Services Agreement is to ensure that you understand our terms and conditions and you agree to pay for the services that you use.
